I have been trying to reach SW for days now. I have been on hold for 2 hours repeatedly. Each time the call is dropped instead of being answered. Last night I was on hold for 7 hours, 59 minutes, 23 seconds!!! Then the call was dropped. I urgently need to rebook because SW cancelled my flight and rebooked me for a flight that will arrive AFTER the event, and in the dead of night. The email they sent me said I can rebook without charge online or with the app. However, that is not true. Both online and the app charge me the difference in cost between the ticket I purchased months ago and current prices, which are of course $650+ more. I tried chat with the app, but that is just a bot that answers FAQs - no real person who can fix real problems. I am back on hold, trying again to get a person on the customer service line (the definition of insanity...) Any ideas?

Sorry your flight was cancelled I’ve been cancelled a couple times my self it’s been a rough couple days just relax and hopefully they will get you to where you need to go soon. ATC in Jacksonville had issues and when you add that to airline crew issues it makes a big mess and unfortunately that’s what has happened. once travel is complete I would send an email to southwest and hopefully they can provide compensation for the delay. -Blake

I would reach out on Facebook or Twitter to cancel but you need to cancel the return or you will be considered a no show and you will lose those funds. At least by messaging Southwest on Facebook or Twitter in a DM it will have a time stamp and maybe they will be lenient since it’s very hard to get through on the phone. You could try to cancel on the app and maybe it will work. -Blake

Sorry to hear this. You could try the cell phone app chat function or one of the other methods listed in "contact us" below. I hope that an appropriate flight is available.
