Hello I previous worked for Southwest for five years. I eventually left on good terms to chase a new career dream. My dream did not work out as planned and I realized my heart was still with Southwest. Three months ago, I was granted an interview. I was turned down for rehire for my exact former position. The rejection letter encouraged me to reapply for different positions as they appeared. Three days ago I applied for a different position that I also have over three years experience in. I also received an employee recommendation from a former Southwest coworker. Today I received a rejection letter saying I would not even be granted an interview. The letter stated that I did not even meet “Minimum Requirements “ for the position I was applying for. I have the educational requirements. I have vaccine requirements. I have years of actual working experience at the very job I was not even considered for. I am obviously very confused and discouraged. I feel like I’m being punished for trying to reapply after leaving on good terms. Being told I don’t even meet minimum requirements is humiliating and untrue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
