When Southwest took over JETBLUE's gates in Long Beach. They didn't pickup one of the best selling routes, LGB TO SEA DIRECT. The planes were always full, even when JETBLUE wanted to punish Long Beach for not building the international terminal and reduced all their flights. (SEATTLE flights going from 3 a day to one) They had to add a second flight due to demand. Some might say it was JETBLUE loyalty that made this route so popular. But that was dis proven when JETBLUE canceled their LAX to SEA flights due to no demand. I know Southwest has tried direct flights from SNA and LAX only to cancel them, those routes has other airlines in competition. On a LGB to SEA addition, Southwest would corner the market. PLEASE ADD A DIRECT LGB TO SEA FLIGHT.
