So if I open a credit card now and spend $5K in 3 months I get free companion pass until Feb28,2023. What happens if I earn the 125,000 points needed for companion pass DURING this year with flights/spending and bonus’s? Would my companion pass be extended then to start on March 1, 2023 and run they Dec 31, 2024? Or is it JUST the companion pass until Feb 28,2023 no matter what and then I loose it? Thanks trying to make the best decision.
