I agree with you to a point but a lot of us were under the impression that Southwest was going to hire some of the workers form the local area. You see with the Northwest/Delta merger a lot of us lost our jobs with ASA and Pinnacle. I for one was hoping to get hired. Southwest missed out on hiring some well trained people from the ramp on up to management. We are talking about people who has 10, 15,18 plus years of airline experience. It is a shame that they did not decide to hire from that pool of people.
