I love the fact that companies are getting on board with social media. It is a great way to build customer loyalty, and it is one of the first things I look for if I have a complaint or a compliment for a company. Calling or even emailing is SO last decade, or century, lol!
I am currently pitching a midsize women's clothing company to become their social media ambassador. It's kinda embarassing that they only have 775 followers and 42 tweets, the last of which was tweeted in February! On the other hand, they seem to be doing ok with their facebook page. We shall see!
I am on the east coast, but if I travel that direction, I will definitely keep Southwest in mind!
