Good news for Boston as this route really needed some low fare competition. Bad news for the regional airports of Boston (Manchester and Providence) who have been so loyal to Southwest, since they will likely take yet another reduction in service so that Logan can have more flights. Boston now has an amazing array of low cost service to almost everywhere and is drawing low fare seekers that would normally fly from Manchester and Providence. Please, please, please fare match from all 3 Boston airports (sale fares too) to all onward markets so as to not canibalize your other faithful regional airports.
