Who is making these decisions and do they really thingk that it is going to speed up boarding??? When was the last time they watched a plane board? Southwest had the most basic and simplified system, if you have an A you get in the A lline when are ready, a B etc. Look at the mess other airlines go through and that is the direction Southwest has decided to go??? Now everyone has to learn how to count and get into a line to board the plane. What was REALLY BROKEN and WHO are you catering to???
Also, as a Parent of a Small Child and a frequent Southwest flyer I am starting to question if Southwest is just getting in line with the Other airlines and getting away for what made them different. I can't wait to fly next because when I get on the plane with my some and all of the stuff I need to bring with him I will look for that person who probable made comments about the fact that families got to preboard and I am going to sit right next to them with my son and maybe they will start to realize that if the Familes get on first they can decide if they want to sit near a child or not. Now we make the decision for them and they will have to deal with it.
