there is nothing wrong with giving someone a hug... I know, i know, in the military it is looked down upon, but hey i am still human. Whenever i see someone having a bad day i give them a hug just to show them that i care. whenever i am down all i need is a simple hug to reassure me that everything is going to be fine..... go hug somebody..

I am back in sunny San Diego. I am glad I left ABQ when i did, otherwise i would have been snowed in.. I returned to work yesterday and it was a sad day. One of our sailors in my department was killed and another injured a few days ago. Keep their familes in your thoughts and prayers. Once again i would like to thank Southwest for the nice trip home. Every employee that i encountered went above and beyond their call of duty.

Great article. I often wonder how flight attendants are hired. The flight attendants I usually encounter are funny, helpful, and are always smiling. Then there are those few times when I often wonder why Southwest hired this particular person. No smile and no jokes. But then i often tell myself, these people have been flying all day, away from their familes on holidays and important events; they have to deal with sometimes mean customers who bring their whole life's worth of luggage on the airplane and who refuse to follow the simple rules of flying. Kuddos to you guys for your hard work and for making me laugh with all of your funny jokes.. TO LEAH: BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YOUR-SELF...................
