I have been a Rapid Rewards member for nearly 20 years. In addition I am a shareholder for over 15 years.
I am in agreement with most individuals that this revision is not good. I would tend to always look first on Southwest when purchasing tickets (multiple times per year) as I don't want to lose any credits due to the 24 month expiration. With the changes no need to worry about that angle anymore. In addition I like the simplicity and the egalitarianism (isn't that what southwest is all about) of the old program.
As both a customer and shareholder cut the loses and stick with the old program
