Flew Southwest flight 1398 to Fla. returned one week later on 1657. Excellent service! The guy on the flight crew on the way down was auditioning for "Last Comic Standing"- pretty sure he made the cut. I think his closing line was "Thanks for flying with us - we're alot faster than taking the bus" sung to some Broadway show tune.
Did have a problem with a lost bag on return trip - had to drive from Erie to Buffalo to pick up - but got a $200 voucher for my trouble. (Also had the option to have it delivered to Erie, but took the voucher offer.) I did see other customer service issues handled very professionaly in Buffalo on return trip.
Also kudos to Southwest for not charging an extra fee for curb side check in. Very cheesy for other airlines to do so - if that is what it takes for them to make ends meet - the sitiuation speaks for itself.
It's nice to know a company who gives good value and service as well as knowing what to do if things go wrong and how to make them right. And the onboard entertainment ain't too bad either!
