On another note, I don't understand why Southwest has gone to the expense of placing the new gate posts where people still have to line up like cattle. Why can't people get assigned seats when they purchase their tickets? Take off time is not any faster than other airlines that provide assigned seating. This method may have made sense when Southwest first started - don't know. But, Southwest may be missing its marketing edge by persisting in this area...
