hey SWLuver in Tampa . Airtran DOES NOT charge for carry on bags. why is everyone brainwashed by Southwest Airlines and their flying buses. Airtran has business class seats, in flight wi-fi and actual assigned seating. Aitran is rated number 1 in customer satisfaction 3 years in a row. my wife is an Airtran employee and takes great pride in her work. no one and i mean no one from Southwest has said a word about the Airtran employees and their futures. until someone from SWA proves that Airtran employees aren't going to be disposed of, as SWA has does so in the past, to companies they have "merged" with, i am firmly against this "merger".
