Wow. You can't buy this much BAD PUBLICITY for $10 Million. Southwest should get their highest level Corporate Communications Director on this to work out a PR solution. No matter which "side" the public "weights in on" (sorry, couldn't resist the pun) - the initial Southwest Airlines Blog article began condescending in it's title "Not So Silent Bob", so sets the tone for bad PR. Can't believe Southwest's Statement was vetted at all. Let's see Southwest's President hit the late-night talk shows with Silent Bob and get this thing behind them both.
Or loose millions of dollars in lost revenue.
