To the person who stated they need SWA in ANC - A quick Kayak search shows DEN-ANC one way is $259 on Frontier and $188 on Alaska - not sure why you are saying F9/WN would be cheaper than AS? SEA-ANC is $253 OW on both AS and CO. Regarding routes F9 serves - Southwest didn't keep all of the ATA routes, thus the reason we don't see Hawaii flights on WN today. To be fair, I don't believe WN has ETOPS aircraft, which would be required to fly over the water to Hawaii. Don't expect WN to keep Mexico service, and I'm not convinced they would keep the F9 ANC service, as it may be farther than they want to go, consider WN seems to focused more on shorter flights, and DEN-ANC would be 5.5 hours long. ...
