This can only be bad for the employees of Frontier, many will lose jobs in an already tough economy. All the WN employees who think this is great. What if it were you losing your job and your friends and co-workers over the last 15 years. You don't seem to think about that. At least the Republic deal will let Frontier continue to be Frontier and not be merged into the WN name. Competition is good and by taking out the competition, you know as well as I that prices will go up. Look at WN cites on the east coast, most prices are sky high, not like out here and that is because of the competition both Frontier and United give Southwest. It has been stated in the news that WN is losing money in Denver and has been since the beginning because of the competition. You really think prices will stay low? I am sorry but i really don't think so, they will go up so WN can start making money in Denver. I really hope Republic wins the bidding war as it will be now and the employees keep their jobs. 5000 people of which maybe 500 will keep jobs with WN, that doesn't seem like a very nice thing to do to people.
