Do Southwest have an explanation on why the Tennessee One aircraft (N922WN) was quietly repainted into the standard Heart livery? I am hearing dirty rumors that it was due to its resemblance to the Confederate flag or the history of Tennessee’s position on owning slaves more than 130 years ago. Please help a loyal customer understand that rationale.

This is all a reach but, I bet this is an unveiling of a new State theme. N945WN might be called "Florida One". On March 18th, N945WN was spotted at BFI (Boeing Field) in Washington. I believe that most planes that WN gets new from Boeing already have the Southwest.com winglets on them. This one only has the solid grey ones http://www.flickr.com/photos/smartjunco/4444043373/.
So do all of the other WN state themes:
Nevada One - http://www.flickr.com/photos/spkerstiens/3907387133/
California One - http://www.flickr.com/photos/sandsy/4180340846/in/pool-swa-ca1
Arizona One - http://www.flickr.com/photos/runway27r/2267196929/in/pool-swa-az1
Illinois One - http://www.flickr.com/photos/caryliao/4405467928/in/pool-swa-il1
Lone Star One - Does not have Winglets yet, it is an older -300 model.
New Mexico One - http://www.flickr.com/photos/spkerstiens/2972193861/in/pool-swa-nm1
Maryland One - http://www.flickr.com/photos/airpics-sergio/4418889380/in/pool-swa-md1
Just a thought, but that's what a small group of aviation photogs are thinking right now in Tennessee. Just bring on Tennessee One next! PLEASE!!! 🙂
