The moral of the story is simple. If you are a big shot director you get an apologize and more.. If you are the rest of the population (like you and me) it's not that way. I have on multiple occasions had to go on a different flight due to over booking or whatever other reason; and trust me I have yet to get compensated or gotten an "apology" for the incident. Shows that SWA has respect for those that treathen the company; all others it's "deal with it".
Though I will probably still fly SWA (Not like there is a better or worse airline; they pretty much are all the same) I still think it's funny that all this fuzz happenned over a single guy... give me a break; this is the norm. Fat or not.
