WOW!!! Thank you all for this blog. I'm going to be 44 this year & have been in the "Corporate" world & a small business owner for over 22 years & decided this year to persue my life long dream as a F/A & of course Southwest is my #1 pick, I just received a call & email for my interview which is on 7/31/08 here in southern CA, I am elated. It seems that it is a long process so I will not get to exited about the next step I'm just so exited to have the chance to interview for such an awesome airline & seeing all your comments has me sitting on the edge of my seat. Hi everyone, I'm so exited I received a call yesterday for a one one interview in Alameda, CA on 7/31/08. From what I'm seeing on this blog is that it takes nearly a year to be actually hired & placed in a training class. Is that what I should expect if I am chosen?
