Is it only me or is this sweepstakes only available in the app and not on the website?
I have large fingers and prefer the website, but this link won't let me submit online(I CAN access via the app).
Thanks

Don't forget the hair and dander that they leave behind- the planes are not thouroughly cleaned after each- no even after many flights. This is a huge problem because SWA allows all kinds of pets and "emotional support animals" and it's become a HUGE problem with dogs roaming around leaving hair & dander that will send me and others with severe allergies straight to the hospital. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit I guess

Please remember that people like me have severe allergies and keep the dog in the carrier, please. when I sit in the hair and dander left by an animal on a prior flight withought seeing it, I end up in the hospital...

this is a definite problem but the bigger problem is people saving seats, sometimes entire exit rows SWA does have specifiice rules on this- customers are allowed to chose any unoccupied seat, but SWA refuses to require their FA's to enfore that rule

per my discussion with customer service today, they have retired this functiuonality which I used quite a lot I could find the cheapest choices for my vacation days and compare the cost of different destinations in an easy. user friendly way. Now I'm having to hunt and peck my way all over each destination- or call reservations and ask then where they think cheapest flight would be on a given day- that;s NO GOOD! HELP! Write/tweet/email/call SWa and ask them to bring it back PLEASE!!!

that was a simple example for illistrative purposes- try this one: boss is in Miami area/multiple airports I am in NY area/multiple airports we need to see a client in Portland and we want to meet someplace for the connection and plan our meeting instead of traveling on seperate nonstops at different times and then havng another hotel night to get our ducks in a row. under the current system we have to check each possible connection/change combinaation by hand- hunting and pecking. what I'd like is to be able to have the system find all the routings that work. is that more clear so you see what I'm after? thanks

I had asked before but no one ever answered, how can I search for connections going THROUGH a specific city? For example- I am in NY, wanna go to LA, but want to connect with my wife who's in or going ttrough Chicago? It is hard and cumbersome to find all the possibilities - especially with muliples airports in NY and in the LA area and then search each one by hand! Any ideas?

How can I set up my connection in a city where I need to meet another traveler.
For example, my child is in Orlando and I am in New York and we're traveling to LA and would like to go together. I would like to book LGA-LAX with a stop or plane change in MCO and the same MCO-LAX for the college kid.
I can search the route map to see nonstops from MCO but how do I search for flights that I could take from LGA and connect/continue to LAX with my child's MCO departure without booking 2 one way tickets. The manual process takes forever to check- especially when I try to add in other NY airports and other Cali airports.
I often book trips like this for family and to travel with coworkers and spend a lot of time hunting and pecking. There HAS TO BE a better way?!?

pretty hard to believe that you had to figure this out- and that no SWA employees twitter customer service or programers or even moderators here had any idea SWA's systems are in trouble!

I'd hate to accuse Southwest of making it difficult to use left-over travel funds, but.... It's the ONLY link on the website that requires chapchta verification! I have been stymied in the past by Cap/No Cap in either first or last name, by having/not having a middle initial in the name, any tiny difference between the name on the funds and what you type into the search available funds search will cause an error- and it DOES NOT give you any hint as to the error. I am highly confident that this is all intentional. Otherwise, I could just look this up with the RR account # like I can everything else

just be careful- when you do this, you can lose the entire credit if any portion of the credit expitres! I have lost hundreds of dollars built up in numerous changed fligghts when a small(less than $5) credit expired before I used it all and it all went away...

I hate to be the bad guy here- an dI think my companion should automatically get the position after me, too!- BUT I am 100% against the idea of saving seats- in fact any passanger has the right to select ANY UNOCCUPIED seat on the plane, that's the ONLY rule about this on SWA's website. If you try to save a bulkhead or an exit row- even a front window with yoiur aisle, I am going to fight you and sit in the seat of my choice- PERIOD. That said, when my companion gets a late B, I go to the back of the pland and grab an aisle and I do put a jacket on the middle seat and avoid eye contact, but if someone asks, you HAVE TO GIVE IT UP. PERIOD.

when I posted similar this as a "story" the moderators took it down- not sure what's going on here, but it's pretty clear to me that SWA doesn't want it known that this perk isn't worth much to anyone- I can't standby earlier in the day, I can't include anyone else on my reservation, I can't include my companion on their own record locator #- and why can't that be combined with mine, BTW?- I can't organize standby over the phone/internet/app in advance, but have to go to the airport and hope for the best- what good is this to me???????

, this perk only applies directly to individual A-List and A-List Preferred member, not to anyone else flying on the same reservation. This means it’s not terribly useful for people flying together unless they’re both elites. The change also has to be requested at the airport and not by phone, which further limits the utility of using it to fly on a later flight. On top of all that, the Wandering Aramean has done some deep digging and found that only 18% of all Southwest routes even have multiple flights within two hours of each other for which this standby feature would be usable. If you want to know which specific routes have the best and worst options, definitely search him out click through the link to see his work
