Over a year ago, a friend of mine suggested that I open a Southwest Rapid Rewards credit card. She said the benefits are great, and for the most part she has been right. She explained that on your year anniversary you earn bonus miles and then the company sends you free drink coupons. So this year on my anniversary I received the bonus points, but no coupons. I know it seems like small potatoes, but I know numerous people who hold the same card, who are getting mailed these items regularly on their anniversary and for other promos, and in my year and 2 months of holding the card, I haven't seen hide nor hair of these mythical things.
