Today my mother who is 92 had a flight home to Orlando. The flight has been delayed by more than 5 hours and she inquired about getting a meal voucher so that she could have a meal while sitting in the airport and the head of customer service in Denver denied the request. What is up with this? The plane is over 5 hours late due to a mechanical problem and Southwest isn't even willing to offer a meal voucher? I have really changed my opinion of Southwest and not only that but the agent at the gate was very nasty. They used to be so helpful, what a shame.
