On May 5th 2017, my wife and I flew out of Providence RI, we were headed to Orlando then planned to drive to Tampa which was our final destination. The tickets to fly to Tampa on a short notice were $1200.00 more than Orlando. Our 2 year old grandaughter who lived in Tampa, had just tragically passsed away. We had limited choices available to us. We were talking to your customer service agent Donna, to upgrade our boarding passes, she was so helpful. She did not want us to fly to Orlando and then drive an additional 2 hours to Tampa when you had service direct to Tampa. Not only did she re route my wife and I, but she also was able to get my daughter and grandaughter on the same flight, so we all could fly together at this awful time. I do not remember her employee ID number, but she truly was outstanding. She worked the day shift on Friday May 5th gate 19 we were originally book to depart to Orlanda around 830 but we flew out at 1:30. I wish I could supply you with her number as she deserves to be recognized for her outstanding customer service. I will always fly Southwest - your employees are awesome.
