I have the Companion pass, and I'm now down to about 50,000 points, which may go towards a trip to attend my cousin's wedding. My wife has about 40k points. Would it make sense to have her transfer those points to me, even if we have to pay, so that I can book her a free flight before the end of the year? Or does the cost outweigh the benefit here? Thanks

Yeah, that happens to me a lot too. I try and use a different browser. When that happens, I'm usually using Chrome. I'll then try using Explorer, Safari, or Firefox instead, depending on whether i'm at home or at work. It worked the few times it's happened to me.

I just found out. The next billing cycle after having a referred friend sign up, as well as reaching the monetary threshold to trigger the sign up bonus, showed my points. #phew

My 10,000 referral points showed up in my next billing cycle, along with the sign up bonus. I need 35,000 more points by the end of the year to qualify for the companion pass. *nervously biting fingernails*
