On an early Monday morning flight from Denver to Philadelphia, champagne is rarely popped. But this occasion was special; complete with peanut veil, and a tissue paper boutonniere.
Surprising and delighting our Customers is in Southwest's DNA. When Chris Chambers reached out to us with a request to propose to his girlfriend inflight, our Crew knew exactly what to do to make the day extra special for Chris and his bride-to-be.
After the couple shared their LUV for each other in an unforgettable moment, our Flight Attendants, Lisamarie, Jan, and Candice, were ready to get the celebration underway with mimosas for all passengers of age. Postcards were passed around the plane for our married Passengers to write their words of wisdom for the newly engaged couple. We hope the experience was as memorable for Chris and Amanda as it was for our Crew and Customers on board!
