Sept. 15 marks the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, which recognizes and celebrates the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. This month-long celebration reminds us of the importance of taking time to learn, appreciate, and embrace one another.

Miami Employees Betty, Jonathan, and Lina help us kick off this Hispanic Heritage Month as they share what their culture means to them and how their diverse Hispanic roots influence their interactions with Customers. Their shared passion for family translates into treating our Customers with love and making everyone feel right at home. It’s the vibrant and diverse experiences of our Employees that are the Heart of our inclusive culture.

Southwest Airlines is proud to recognize Cultural, Heritage, and Pride holidays throughout the year. These include nationally observed holidays and months of celebration that honor our Employees’ diverse backgrounds, the diverse communities we serve, and our Company's community-giving pillars.

We’re excited to announce the recent launch of our Diversity tees, lanyards, and pins, which recognize the various cultural and heritage moments. These are now available for purchase at Southwest® the Store.
