My son Alex has special needs. We thought he was old enough to fly to Florida to visit his very special Uncle Dave and cousins. Dave is Alex's hero. My Purple Heart veteran brother is his ultimate buddy. Dave served two tours in Afghanistan, and we are all very proud of him. Southwest was amazing. They helped Alex on the plane and kept a special eye on him while flying. Alex having special needs has a smaller world than most, but for a long weekend they helped open up possibilities. And he can't wait to take his next trip to see Uncle Dave again (of course with Southwest)! Thank you, Southwest!
