Let the smack-talking begin...college football season officially kicks off this weekend, but the ribbing, teasing, joking, and whooping (if you're an
Aggie like me) has already begun.
College T-shirts are appearing in the hallways (we have a casual dress code but I'm thinking about writing Colleen about prohibiting last year's University of Texas championship T-shirts from being worn in this building....I would go directly to the CEO but Gary's "one of them"), university banners are being hung outside offices and cubes, football pools are being distributed, and lunches are being scheduled...all in the name of college football.
Depending on the performance of your alma mater, college football season can be a glorious or a painful experience, but one thing's for sure - it's a no-holds-barred-smack-talking-flag waving-face painting-good time here at Southwest Headquarters.
So whether you're loyal to the SEC, Big 12, Big Ten, PAC Ten, Conference USA (is there anyone actually willing to admit it if you are?), Atlantic Coast, Big East, Mid-American, Mountain West, Sun Belt, or Western Athletic conference, one thing is for sure - it's football season...let the games begin!
