Combating Human Trafficking: Southwest Airlines Channel
Our Company recognizes the importance of being aware of issues impacting communities around the world, especially those directly related to the airline industry—like Human Trafficking. As Human Trafficking can happen on our aircraft, we’ve prioritized opportunities to identify indicators and advocate for those who may be in a difficult situation. As a means to educate and inform our Customers about our Human Trafficking partnerships, we launched the “Combating Human Trafficking: Southwest Airlines” On Demand TV Channel onboard—be sure to tune in on your next flight.
Southwest is proud to support multiple nonprofit organizations whose efforts help with the rescue, recovery, and restoration of Human Trafficking survivors. We support their missions through cash and travel donations used for victim advocacy, reuniting survivors with their families, and building coalitions between nonprofits, law enforcement, and corporations to prevent trafficking from becoming an even larger industry.
