2 different credit card, same rapid rewards number

Has anyone had this problem. Mom and I got 2 separate credit cards, we are not additional users. Applied different time but my mom has my rapid rewards number listed on her credit card. It only dawned on me now when she asked me to book her ticket using her rewards and my name came up being that its linked to that rewards number. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

So you are saying that HER RR points are being applied to your RR account --  AND YOUR RR points are also being added to your RR account? I've never heard of two card tied to two fwo different cardholders having point go to one RR account.

So just book her ticket with your (her) points.
