Companion promotion: Does booking two one-way tickets for two RR members count?

Self explanatory. I did the last promotion but for that I booked two one-way fares for myself.

My question is if I buy two one-way tickets but for different RR members if that also qualifies? I'm guessing the answer is no but not sure in reading the terms.

One person/RR number must register then book and fly 2 flights they can be a Round trip or 2 one ways but that individual must complete the 2 flights you can’t have a mom and child fly 1 flight each and get the promotional companion pass with the mom or child (for The sake of my example) must book and travel on 2 flights.
