Hi, so I know $5000 need to be spent to get the companion pass and 30000 points but my question is that if there's a limit on what items could those $5000 be spent on? Or can we spend it on anything? Thanks.

Always good to read the terms of the offer you are signing up for
“Purchases” do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.

Nice! So apart from those conditions, the $5000 can spent on any other stuff right like groceries, daily purchases, etc.? I think someone told me you could only spend that $5000 for travel related stuff.
