Applying a credit after I paid for my flight.

I just booked a family trip to Cancun. My husband has a $150 credit that I did not know about. Can I apply that after I booked my flight or do i need to cancel and rebook everything?

If you are within 24 hours of booking you can cancel and request a refund back to the original form of payment.  Then rebook using the credit you forgot you had.

If more than 24 hours after booking you're out of luck as you would receive a credit when you cancel, then you'd have 2 credits.

Exception is if you bought Anytime or Business Select fare, those can be cancelled with refund back to original payment at any time.

So it's after 24 hours. So if I cancel, can I use two credits to rebook our flights?

Yes, but why would you?  Unless the price has dropped I can not think of any reason rebooking would be a good idea.
