2025 Spring Internship Automatically Rejected

I applied for the 2025 Spring Cybersecurity Internship, but my application was auto-rejected. I read the job description and I believe that I met all of the qualifications to be considered. Is it possible to find out why?

I took a closer look at your application for the Cybersecurity Engineer Internship, and your application was removed from consideration when you answered "no" to the question "Are you progressing towards a degree, major, or minor in Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Information Technology, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business OR similar degree?"

Since it's required that applicants be progressing toward a degree, major, or minor in at least one of these focus areas, your application was removed from consideration when you indicated that you weren't doing so. So sorry for any confusion or disappointment.
