Why so many non-SWA spam topics anymore?

I understand the days of this forum are nearing their end...

But I do not understand the sudden increase in spam non-Southwest related posts the past few weeks.

Can anything be done to get them deleted?

If you click on the gear icon do you get an option to "notify moderator" - please feel free to flag anything that violates the community terms. 

I know the end is coming soon but I'm still flagging away on these spam posts.
