Whether you’re traveling to Salt Lake City for skiing this winter or hiking during the summer, you’re about to be amazed as Southwest Airlines has a new front door to the Wasatch and Oquirrh Mountains. This week, we officially packed up and moved into our brand new home inside Concourse B at the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).

Customers and even our Employees, will notice several new enhancements that make travel fun, exciting, and convenient. Some of the big changes include significantly larger spaces from the ticket counter to gate areas, amazing artwork depicting the natural wonders of Utah, and food and beverage offerings representing the tastes and flavors of Salt Lake City.

Pro Travel Tip: Be sure to check out The Canyon art installation once you clear the significantly expanded security checkpoint. Look up and you’ll see a display the size of a football field!

While we are moved in and settled, there’s still more work to be done at the airport as part of The New SLC. Be sure to check out the airport’s website to learn more about the project and what you can expect the next time you fly through SLC.
