Southwest Airlines offers free inflight entertainment* for our Customers to enjoy, including movies, live TV, custom TV series channels, and iHeartRadio stations and podcasts available onboard our WiFi-equipped fleet. Customers can watch some Halloween-favorites like Beetlejuice, The Mummy (2017), The Witches, and Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride. We’re also adding new movies to the line-up like Black Widow, In the Heights, and Spirt Untamed.
Featured Halloween Movies
Ghosts, mummies, and witches oh my—so many Halloween movies to watch, to make time fly by!
Be sure to catch one of this month’s spooktacular featured movie, Beetlejuice, available on the Inflight Entertainment Portal, just in time for Halloween! Watch as Mr. and Mrs. Maitland hire “bio-exorcist” Beetlejuice to haunt the new tenants of their house. What lengths will they go through to reclaim their property? Get ready for this thrilling adventure that will keep you at the edge of your seat!
Also playing this month is The Mummy (2017). U.S. soldiers Nick Morton and Chris Vail discover an ancient tomb and awaken Princess Ahmanet, who was entombed under the desert for thousands of years. Can they stop her as she embarks on a rampage through the streets of London? Watch and find out!
What happens when you spy on a conversation between witches? You may or may not be turned into a mouse. Watch the Halloween classic, The Witches, and find out how little Luke fights back against the witches to save the day.
Who says Halloween can’t be romantic? Be sure to catch Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride. What would you do to return to the one you love? Follow Victor on his journey back home to rescue Victoria from marrying the villainous Barkis Bittern.
Southwest Airlines and Walt Disney World® Resort Collaboration
Did you know that Southwest Airlines and Walt Disney World Resort are also both celebrating their 50th anniversaries this year? That's right! Disney World opened its doors on Oct. 1, 1971. To celebrate, we launched a collaboration with the Walt Disney World Resort that includes a co-branded commemorative Boeing 737-700 aircraft (N954WN) featuring the 50th-anniversary logos of both Southwest and Walt Disney World Resort and EARidescent treatment that Walt Disney World has created especially for the 50th-anniversary celebration!
For those who can't be there in person, we're providing a sneak peek of some of the magic at 35,000 feet. Tune in to the Inflight Entertainment Portal to the Walt Disney World Resort TV series channel to catch some of the excitement and special moments at the Resort to come throughout the 18-month anniversary celebration, beginning Oct. 1.
