Extensive Waiting Time for Application Response

Hi to whom it may concern,

First off, I’d like to quickly say that I don’t like to be the one who’s impatient or anything like that, I just like to be informed and to know whether I should keep my hopes up? Lol

I applied to be a Customer Service Agent on June 1st, which is (pretty soon) about to be 2 months. I was wondering if anyone else has had to wait this long for a yes/no response from SWA?

I know no news means good news and a possibility is still out there, but I’m a little worried/concerned + genuinely curious if anyone’s had to wait this long, since I’ve heard it generally takes a month.

I applied for an IT-adjacent position on July 5. Had three interviews, got the verbal approval last Friday and the actual offer this afternoon, less than 3 weeks total. 

Recruiter was very good about communicating the timeline and process, and setting/managing expectations. The overall experience for me was that SWA has got their HR processes down to a science.
