You are a very bright 12 year old and am so thankful you called SWA and allowed us the opportunity to serve your cause. I will cherish the memories of the news footage from yesterdays reunion forever and am so very grateful that every thing turned out as it did. We are the airline of democracy and I share your appreciation for SWA and the causes they choose to support.

Before everybody gets all stirred up please read all the information about the merger. Emotions run high and this is not the first airline merger nor the last, do not rely on gally-gossip or cockpit- crackpots. Do your own research and in the end where ever you end up be thankful somebody stepped up. I can think of a lot worse airlines to work fo other r than SWA, oh yea that would be any and all of them. This business is not much different than any other right now, be in it to win it. Winning Customers is the number one game right now hopefully profits will follow when the economy flips.

It was my 30 year anniversary with Southwest Airlines and I can tell you that party was perfect in every way. It was so wonderful seeing so many folks having a great time. Southwest goes out of their way to make their Employees and families feel special and this party is just one more way they show the LUV. Thank you for a wonderful night and a wonderful place to work and play.

I cannot imagine anybody working harder to keep Southwest up and running than the current leadership. I would like to think Lamar would agree. This is a tough business in a tough economy and I do not know what else could be done that Southwest is not already doing or researching. I have been here for 3 decades, I have alot of faith in the Customers and the Employees. We will survive and eventually thrive again. Amercians need to ask themselves Where have I been? and Where will I go? Because without Southwest low fares and the competition it creates most Americans would not have gone, seen or done everything we dream of doing. Southwest has been and always will be one of the most AMERICAN companies in the country. They treat their employees well, provide a great service at a more than reasonable price, fly safe, smart and really care about their Customers and their needs. Next time you go to an airport look around at the friendly faces with helpful spirits and warm hearts. This is the airline that was built by the PEOPLE for the PEOPLE.

At 75.00 a pop/pup I doubt 100;s of pets will fly each day, we will not become Noahs Arc. Let's everybody calm down and see how it goes, if it is not good for business then I am sure they will take another look at the change. We know we cannot please everybody but we want to please the majority. My parents will not take their dog, SKIPPER the Jack Russell Terrorist, he is not welcome anywhere. I think he is even on the NO FLY LIST.

If the SWA starts to loose Customers and money I am certain they will take another look at the policy change. Just like every service business in the world we are here to please most of the people not just some of them. It has appeared to those of us who work here our no pet policy was starting to hurt us. Most pet owners realize the risk of traveling with pets, more pets are lost once the pet owner changes their surroundings , it is not wise to take your pet out of town. I do not think we will have 100's of dogs and cats on flights, who the hell wants you to bring your pet with you? Give PAWS a chance.

It is always a good idea to let your kids know especially when you get to the airport late that you may not be seated together since SW has an open seating policy. We called those FREEDOM stories. I work for SW and we were seperated when flying. When we got to our final destination I would ask my kids who they sat with and what they talked about. These experiences and conversations gave them skills they now apply to their adult life. I was not just making lemonade I was make lemon pies.

If the coffee is that great why not market it and sell it to be ground at home. We are always looking at ways to market our brand. Perhaps a percentage of the profits could go to a new charity every year. 2009 could go to Wounded Warrior. I am going to have to take a trip just to try the new brew. I am shocked that Herb did not realize how bad our on board coffee was. I love the name and the concept. Reminds me of the old Calgon ad but for us it could be Southwest Lift Me Away.

The band was a nice touch to a very serious message. I only wish the folks who need to hear the message would go to the message. Those of us who get the message, share the message and understand the message really enjoyed the music and best part was seeing how much FUN they were having jamming. GREAT JOB, if ya'll ever pick up back up dancers that will be the show down.

Too bad for the sad dad. SWA will look golden after you fly the others. Hold onto you wallet sad dad you will be a broke dad after a family trip on another airline. Do not let your children watch any TV, do any work on a computer, open their eyes out in public. I have seen more skin in real time on human flesh in public than on that SI airplane.

For those of you who say I will never fly Southwest again I have 3 words for you YOU'LL BE BACK. If you really mean it give away your RR award ceritificates to charity, toss out your RR number and shop around. Let us not forget SW raises millions of dollars for Ronald McDonald House, treated the US troops with more respect than any other carrier. Hundreds of our Troops were stranded over the holidays and SW flew many home in time. SW does not charge for 1st 2 bags to be checked, does not charge for Unaccompanied minors, does not charge for reservation changes on regular fare tickets, you can even speak to a real person who speaks English when you call for information. The SI aircraft is a decale it will be gone after your back. See ya on a LUV jet soon.

I am with you, working for SWA for 30 years and am so very proud of the way we conduct business and provide a valuable service. We carry more Customers than any other domestic airline per year.100 million plus fly SWA , I don't know if Americans put much thought into what this country be like without us and how much of it you would see. We proudly fly Customers for business but the reality every Customer has a unique story and I love the fact that we are moving people to the places they need to go. I wish the gut response on Walstreet was to invest in honest companies who do not cook books and are not run by crooks. Our leadership is dedicated to serving us while serving you.I am hoping the culture for investors will change and they will seek companies who value true values. We are trading at about 7.00 a share and we are started out as a short haul carrier but clearly we are in in for the long haul. PLEASE JOIN US.

I think a better name for the newer way you board is to call it YOUR FEET NOT YOUR SEAT. This could be a fun way to market this concept since some of our Customers still have a hard way of understanding. FEET ASIGNMENT NOT SEAT ASSIGNMENT.

Let us keep the SI ad in the spirit of things. We are big advertisers for all sports, pro and college so it keeps with our base advertising. It is temporary and the intent was to announce long awaited service to LGA. Can we not all be excited about new service. Let us not forget about the over 100 million Customers who fly us because of our low fares and great Customer service. Our leaders have worked especially hard to not use paycuts, layoffs and benefit cuts to keep us profitable, this ad did just what we wanted it to for a short period of time we have a beautiful, fit swimsuit model plastered on the side. If you boycott because of that so be it, we are sorry if you are offended but did you know about the thousands of great things SW does locally and nationally? Iam ready for the public to know first hand just how great we are, leaders who do not take crazy ass bonuses and salaries that are way out of whack with the group they lead. I am so proud to be here and hope you come back. We are who we carry and Sports Illistrated and their readers are a big bunch of SW fans.

I am certain that our Customers would think green if we recommended certain green travel ideas. The expensive, huge and never to decompose carseat bag should be saved and reused for return travel. Better yet we should sell the large waterproof canvas carseat bag and be rid of the plastic bag.

I RECOMMEND 20.00 UMBRELLA STROLLERS FOR AIR TRAVEL, AND JUST BECAUSE YOUR BAG CAN CARRY 80 LBS OF STUFF IN IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD. THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA, PUT TOGETHER WITH PLASTIC AND ARE MADE TO CARRY CLOTHING. I HAVE SEEN FROZEN FOOD, TOOLS,BOOKS,ELECTRONICS AND MANY MORE ITEMS THAT ARE SHIPPED IN LUGGAGE AND WHEN THE BAG BREAKS WE GET ACCUSED OF THROWING THE BAGS AROUND. WE ARE NOT THAT STRONG AND WOULD NOT RISK INJURY TO TOSS A 80 LB BAG.

I am starting a campaign to promote children and friends of Customers who need curb to gate and gate to curb wheelchair assist to please place your party in a chair, park your car, get a escort document and push you party. There are not enough wheelchair attendants to meet the demand during peak times and holidays. To abandon a wheelchair Customer in the elements and skip out is a sin on humanity, there ought to be a law. How we treat our parents is how our children will treat us.

Tom you took my point wrong, check in is available on line and you will be an A, chances are you will be with your family than not. I have had to split up at the theatre when it was a big opening and plenty of folks were there ahead of me and my family survived. As for the restaurant it applied to people insisting on being served 1st not on where they are seated. We have proven over the years we are very family friendly and are proud of it. Southwest is the 1st airline I flew back in the 70's and it is the only airline I would work for.

Holding a seat is allowed and encouraged as long as somebody else does not push for the seat you are holding. Customers who are disabled are still allowed preboarding but for many folks preboarding for certain seats became an issue that never should have never be allowed. Log on and get an A and step in line and have your turn. Everybody cannot be 1st, perhaps that is why they call it AIRLINE you have to stand in LINE to get in the AIR.

Just imagine what travel experiences would have been had there been no Southwest Airlines. This is a change to keep up with changing times and changing needs, if you want to board early check in on line. When you go to the theatre do you fall apart when you do not get the seats you wanted? Do you pull the early serve card for seating at a crowded restaurant? We are in the service business and we try to serve everybody, some folks will always feel underserved and overlooked. I honestly feel like Southwest is trying to figure out how to keep, lure and serve all Customers in the best way. Before Southwest more than half of the US had never flown before, I am thankful for Southwest.

I am certain a Customer from that flight brought her attire to the attention of the ground crew that day. It is not uncommon to ask a Customer to change shirts when the shirt says something offensive. If an outfit or shirt draw that much attention then it is the responsiblity of the employee to resolve it. That nut got on the flight looking like a tramp and I assure you if she were interviewing for a nursing home job she would have covered up. My question is did she get the Hooters job? If so I will dine elsewhere.
