I had a random thought at work today. Why is it called a manicure & not a womanicure? :?

Wanna get away, even if it's just for one day? Southwest has great round-trip fares, as well as (of course) one-way! 🙂

I have another one. What restaurants do SWA employees not eat at? Answer: The Delta Cafe!
P.S. It really is a good restaurant! Yum! 🙂

Is there a mandatory retirement age for FAs? I've never heard of one, but I am curious.

Good, Shaky! Please keep us updated. I'll bet you'll get interviews, & surely they'll pick you for training. It sounds like you have good experiences!

"Salut! Comment-allez vous? Je vais bien." I just said: "Hi! How are you? I'm fine." I don't remember if I spelled "How are you?" correctly, though.
I took four & a half years of French & remember some; I recognize some of the words on that blog, but not enough to really help you! I wish I could.
I remember my first dialogue from French 1 in ninth grade, which was 16 years ago this August!
Au revoir (good bye)! By the way, SWA, you know I LUV you! :)
SWA LUV & mine, always!

I'm glad to see they've raised the age. I feel like as long as pilots & co-pilots are physically, mentally, & emotionally stable to fly longer, they should be allowed to!

I have a question, but rirst I'll say this: I've interviewed 4 times for FA (2 Groups & 2 One-on-Ones), twice for CSA, & twice for RSA; unfortunately, I wasn't picked for training for any position. 😞 I've never heard after my second FA (the more recent one), CSA, & RSA interviews what I can do to improve my chances of being invited for training. My question is-why can't people who weren't invited for training (for whatever position) be on a list for alternates if their interview went well? I noticed after I got my letter after my second FA interview last year that SWA was no longer hiring for that position, but later saw they were again; if people, let's say, didn't complete training, why can't they have those who had a good interview come back for training? I also noticed you're no longer hiring (at least for now) for RSA in OKC, which is where I interviewed, & that you're still accepting resumÃ

I have a joke, but it's dorky! Why do SWA employees not want cheese on their sandwiches at restaurants? It's because they only have American cheese & not Southwest! Oh, here's another one. What car do SWA pilots like to drive? They like Hondas, because they have Honda Pilots!
Oh, those were bad! Ha, ha. 🙂

Laughing is one thing I do best, seriously! Sometimes, I laugh so hard my stomach hurts! :)
I read the other day that physiologists proved that having a good belly laugh for 15 minutes burns as many calories as doing sit-ups for 10 minutes!

Do you have many people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing who work for SWA? I'm curious, because I majored in Deaf Services and minored in Interpreting.
Thanks, Ann & all the SWA employees! Keep up the great work. I LUV you all! Southwest is definitely my favorite airline! 🙂

Hey, Robin. If I'd been picked for RSA training in OKC & if I were going to attend the first training class beginning January 8th, I'd have gone for orientation tonight! I'm sad, seriously. 😞
Anyway, thanks to all the airline employees! Hopefully I'll be working for the Company some day.

Hi, Kim & Jenny! I'm doing well. I'd LUV to send in a picture or more, but don't know how, other than mailing.
Yes, I did interview (both group & one-on-one each time) for CSA & RSA; unfortunately, I wasn't picked for training for either one! 😞 Now I have to wait until next November before trying again. Thanks for asking, though.
Yes, Jenny, I do know ASL! 🙂 I'm not actually certified, but I took 4 1/2 semesters of it; I'm also in a Sunday School class for Deaf & Hard of Hearing at my church & we have an interpreter. I majored in Deaf Services & minored in Interpreting. That's really great what you do! 🙂

I had 2 FA interviews over the summer but again wasn't picked for training; I also went through both 7 years ago. I had 2 CSA & 2 RSA interviews last month & this month, but wasn't picked for training for either position. 😞 Can anyone tell me what they look for in interviews? I hope to find out what I can do to improve my chances of being invited back for training. I'm very outgoing, personable, enthusiastic, & I LUV to have fun; there are other qualities I can offer, one being that I'm fluent & still gaining fluency in American Sign Language. I have a lot of determination & want to work for SWA, but now my determination has gone way down. 😞

I LUV Washington D.C! I've flown there 5 times. It's an awesome place. One year (the summer between 5th & 6th grade) when I went, I was with a group. One thing we did was watch the changing of the guard; I was one of four from my group chosen to walk down when the wreath was laid. It was an awesome experience!
