Hi Southwest, This is may be a long shot, but why not take a chance. I am an alumni of an amazing STEM high school in Aurora, Illinois. The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy does so much to provide opportunities to students from communities throughout Illinois. And, because it is a residential high school, our halls quickly become ‘home’ and being passionate about your studies is celebrated and encouraged throughout our community. One of the many exceptional staff at IMSA was recently featured in our school newspaper. And, to my surprise, in her interview she simply mentioned that one day she’d like to visit Florida. That doesn’t seem too lofty, does it? We agree! As a result, many alum have started a Go Fund Me campaign to send Rosemary to Florida and give her some extra spending money for a once in a lifetime trip. She has been the smiling face at the front reception since 1988 and she so deserves the beach vacation she desires.
