I feel your pain. Last flight I took there were 22 wheel chair people most of which had family board with them. The preboard will get worse now that the EBCI fee will increase on Aug 29 to $25 a person. Everyone who does not want to pay will just hop into a wheelchair.

Unless you purchased the fully refundable ticket your ticket is not refundable. You were issued a travel vouchure to used on a future flight and it expires one year from the dated you purchased your tickets

yes that was true but to make money they changed it to Aug 30. You see on Aug 29 the EBCI fee increases to $25 so they decided to wait till Aug 30 so that everyone booking during the new booking window will have to pay the $25 fee if you are in one of the select cities that SWA will now be charge $25 for.
