I’ve been attempting to book a midsize SUV from Hertz at BOS since last night and keep getting all the way to the “reserve now” page before receiving an error message saying “ we were unable to confirm your reservation at the original rate you were quoted”. Despite refreshing the page, closing it, and even deleting cookies before retrying, the result is the same. Frustrating to say the least. Searching the exact same reservation with the same codes on Hertz.com yields a higher price. What’s going on? I’ve been booking my rentals on the RR promotions page for years and never seen this before.
