Thank you. I have to apologize for my original post and the ones that followed. I just checked my statement and there is a $200 credit. I was mistaken about how this worked and erroneously accused Southwest and/or Chase for cheating me. I'm very sorry. Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to my posts.

Except that I didn't use the Southwest credit card because it hadn't been approved yet.

Thank you, Blake. It will, if I spend enough on this card and pay the $69 annual fee.

The $200 off my ticket price appeared as I was about to purchase my ticket and BEFORE I opened the screen with information about the card. It showed $200 being deducted from the ticket price from that particular flight, not sometime in the future after spending some amount of money and paying an annual fee. It gave the impression that the $200 would be applied immediately.

I purchased two tickets for a flight on 1/30/19. As I was about to pay for them, a message popped-up saying that I could save $200 on those tickets, showing the $200 subtracted from that specific flight. When I clicked on the link, it took me to an application for a Chase Rapid Rewards card. I filled it out, thinking it would be applied to my tickets, and was approved on the spot, but when I went back to pay for the tickets there was no discount. I'd spent a lot of time researching tickets and didn't want to lose them, so went ahead and paid. I've now received the card with no mention of the discount. This is clearly false advertising. I hope that Southwest doesn't say that this is a problem with Chase, because they should be responsible for what happens on their own website. KS
