Thanks for the reply. I'll be calling SW vacations next week. I sent a message to SW airlines & it seems like I'd be able to deal direct with them about a refund on the air portion. I have trip insurance through SWV, but I'm not sure if I have to make my final payment for it to kick in & be able to cancel my other parts. Everything online seems so vanilla, & they aren't replyingto emails. Thanks again!

What if your flight is booked through Southwest vacations? Since they are separate from SW SW airlines, are you still entitled to a cash refund? I'll be calling them once my final payment is due on 4/23 & see what my options are.

Hello, I had a trip booked to Cancun through SW vacations in Jun that was canceled. Reading the info on their page, it seems like they only want to offer travel credit on flights instead of a refund. Does anyone know if they are obligated to offer a refund since they are technically a separate company from SW? Back to my original question, if I do take the future travel credit, how does that work? If I travel to the same destination, is there no change in cost? If not, what do you think will happen as far as air fares? Everyone will have travel credit that must be used, so will fares go up causing us to have to spend more money out of pocket? This is all so confusing, especially since a lot of the info I've read has very little details. I'll end up calling in the near future because they aren't responding to emails, & I'm not look forward to being on hold at the moment. I'm also curious if I'll be able to push my final payment date back? Thanks!

Hello, My family has a tripped booked to Cancun for 06/07/2020. I placed a deposit down, & the SW agent told me that the remaining balance would be due on 4/23/20. The itinerary I was emailed also shows 4/23. I created a SW vacations account today, & when I scroll to the bottom where you can enter payment info, it says remaining balance is due 4/4/20. Which date is correct? What happens if I don't pay my balance by the due date? I know this trip isn't happening, but I'll wait til the end to cancel since I purchased insurance. Hopefully they extend the flight credit because I have kids & it'll be difficult to use it by Jan 2021 since that's when I booked. Thank you.
