Is it posible to fix you schedule in a way you can do all your shifts as a part time over the weekend only? Let say instead of 5 days of 6 hours each can you do two shifts on Friday, two on Saturday and maybe 1 on Sunday with possible OT each? Of course all this understanding that first you need to get seniority. But even with seniority is it possible to arrange a schedule like that?  ... View more

Hey Daaaeeee  Hope training and everything is going well. I just went and got my temp badge today and start orientation on Monday. I was just curious what to expect my first couple days and also, if you've already been to Dallas for the training. If so, how long were you in Dallas? I was told Fly in Sunday then home Friday...then the email said 11 days in Dallas. Then told something else...so I figured you were most recent class for CSA in Phx  so why not just ask you lol.    If you have anything you can tell me from above questions, or anything you'd like to pass along (helpful hints/suggestions/advice) I'd be happy to listen! I'm sure I will need to start learning the cities and airport codes soon too. Hello and welcome to the SWA family!   From my application date 05/31/22 to my start date 07/05/22, that's 35 days or 5 weeks.  The answer most of us got from reading a lot of these posts is 4-6 weeks.  I've seen posts where its been over a few months and they're still in the process.  I'm sure a lot of factors like how many other applicants for the same station, your personal background, etc come into play but don't give up and keep checking your email!  I would go a week or two without anything even if I replied to the last email I got (still not replies lol).    Don't give up and good luck on your process! -Chris ...
