I don't see how this affects A-Listers. I think the idea here is that they are trying to sell any leftover slots in the A group AFTER the A-Listers, Business Selecters and Early-Birders have already claimed theirs. If you're an A-Lister, you automatically got your A-group number when you checked in, so if they sell more A group numbers to other people, that doesn't affect you. Basically they want to make a few extra bucks from last-minute people who still want to board early. I can't imagine any regular SWA flyer would pay this since they know that they can just do the early bird for a fraction of this price. This is definitely for infrequent SWA passengers who did a last-minute check-in.
