I only used southwest this time bc i had credit from the last time they got me stuck somewhere. southwest has rarely got me where im going without delay. I won’t be using them ever again. this was the last straw

My southwest flight from MD to N.Y. was delayed 3 hours, so i took a flight to a city 70 miles away and drove home and agreed to pick up my bags in rochester when i got back. I received notification my bags arrived at 3am 7/15, so I went there at 8:30 am to pick them up. the baggage office was closed and locked, the sign said to go to the ticket counter which I did. it was also closed; No employees, all kiosks were turned off. So I called southwest, they tried calling and determined there was no one there bc there was not a flight out until 12:30 pm. they suggested I return when the employees arrived. I insisted that my bags be deliver bc I was not going to come back and pay to park again bc they aren’t open during business hours. the rep said she would request it. when I received a call back I was blown away! I was told I did not qualify for delivery bc there was employees there, they just all went on break at the same time; And I should have stood in line at the Delta counter next to it and asked them to find an employee to help me. But since I didn’t, I would have to come back… Believe me when I tell you, I will most certainly be standing in the Delta line from now on… but my question is; Is this really a corporate policy? I should have to form a search party with your competitors to find your lost employees to get my bags?
