I haven't written in a while because I thought I'd let others speak their concerns, but this one IRKS me!!!!
Both my husband and I are D list members, and I also am a companion pass member which makes it great for my husband to fly free with me anywhere I go.
On our last 4 trips recently, the latest being today, we have noticed that again, your agents at the gates aren't doing what they should be doing...."Keeping numerical order in lines"...of course, a number or two out of sequence isn't an issue, its when A-30 goes ahead of A16 A 14 etc............This has happened twice coming back from Vegas, (both times) and on both ways from Houston to Corpus Christi and back. If we spend the amount of money we are spending to assure our place in line, we then "despite" the fact that Ms/Mrs. Ladeedah trying to act stupid and oblivious to the fact that she doesn't understand the system, so she just goes right up front when he calls A 1-15 and if they missed hearing that, they've been known to just fly by and cut in front of us and the Couldn't Care Less Agent just lets them through.. (after letting them know they are out of line).............On two occasions when my husband was flying business class, a person on each of these flights stood right in front of him, and the Agent just let him/her through. He saw they were out of place, but figured the "great workers who take pride in their jobs" would tell them to head right back to the end of the line where they belong, and oh yes, one was like A 57..............
This is WRONG and if they continue to allow this, it won't be long before we'll be rilght back where we were when this whole thing changed.........Angry and Ticked.......Most do follow the rules, but there are still many who don't, and we as your higher paying customers would like to encourage your respect of us, who do enjoy these perks because we've paid for them. We feel you need to address this again with your gate agents, as we caught 2 ladies the other week way out of line, and one of them was told before going straight up to the front that she was at A 30, was taken there by her boyfriend, then just left and told him it didn't matter, she was going up front............Went up front and acted innocent, and we stood behind of her and another lady and acknowledged to the agent that they needed to get back to where they belonged, he said "see, you are going to get some people mad at you"...They were sweet and pleasant I will say, but after he let both my husband and I on, he let them come on also. That isn't right or fair to the others behind of us who anxiously checked in online to get a good space in line....
Please have your agents do their jobs right, or replace them with someone who knows and will follow the rules..........I dread the thought of them becoming as awful as the TSA agents at the Las Vegas airports.............Ugh, please, I hope they don't go that route......

I just saw your blog about my typing in caps, and unfortunately I just sent out another blog in caps. I just love to type in caps, always have and no one has ever bought this to my attention..Thank you for your comment/criticism and I'll be sure not to type in CAPS oops caps, on this blog again...Have a good day..!

MY DEAR EQUALLY DISMAYED......FIRST OFF, SYMPATHY IS THERE FOR MANY, THAT ISN'T THE ISSUE AT ALL.....JERILYN'S EMAIL WAS MOST TOUCHING AND I AGREE WITH EVERYONE WHO IS DISAPPOINTED BY THIS UPROAR, THANKS AGAIN TO ATA........THE ISSUE IS THE BLAME GAME TO SOUTHWEST..........SOUTHWEST DIDN'T HAVE TO FIND A PARTNER TO GIVE MANY THE PRIVILEGE OF FLYING TO HAWAII FOR CHEAP, BUT THEY FOUND THIS TOOL FOR ALL OF US TO USE, AND BECAUSE IT WENT BELLY UP FOLKS ARE BLAMING SOUTHWEST.......THEY SHOULD BE BLAMING ATA......MANY FOLKS WERE USING THEIR RR REWARDS FOR THE TRIP, BUT HOW ABOUT THOSE WHO PAID "CASH" TO ATA DIRECTLY? THEY ARE OUT COMPLETELY.... EVERYONE BEING UPSET ISN'T THE ISSUE, ALL THESE SWA WORKERS HAVE HAD THERE CUP RUNNETH OVER ALSO WITH YELLS, NASTY WORDS, HANG UPS ETC., BUT CALLING THEM LIARS CONTINUALLY DURING AN EVENT THEY HAD NO CONTROL OF, AND "UP FRONT" DID MEAN WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT TRYING TO ACCOMODATE EVERYONE, WAS OVERWHELMING FOR THEM ALSO.....BUT, REFUNDING AND GIVING THE ADDITONAL 200 DOLLAR VOUCHER IS ALSO "AN ACCOMODATION"....AND THE BEST THEY COULD DO...

OH MY GOODNESS.........BABIES BABIES...........YES, ITS SAD THAT ATA SUNK, BUT SW DOESN'T NEED TO DO ANY FAVORS FOR YOU BECAUSE OF IT, YET THEY ARE.......WHEN 9/11 CAME, I HAD A FLIGHT BOOKED ON DELTA, AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD ACCOMODATE ANY CHANGES BUT ON THEIR TERM....WHICH WAS YOU HAD TO RESCHEDULE YOUR FLIGHT TO BE FLOWN WITHIN 6 MONTHS............I TOLD THEM I DIDN'T WANT TO FLY AT ALL AND ASKED FOR A REFUND (EXACTLY 2 WEEKS AFTER 9/11) AND THEY REFUSED MY REFUND......I ESCALATED IT TO THE SUPERVISOR AND SHE SAID I WOULD NOT BE GETTING A REFUND AND I WOULD HAVE TO RESCHEDULE AS TOLD......NO IF'S AND'S OR BUT'S..SO I LOST 350.00 DOLLARS...........MAD, ABSOLUTELY, FAIR, NO.............BUT, WE ALL KNOW LIFE ISN'T FAIR..........

THIS WAS INTERESTING.......THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN LESS THEN A MONTH, THAT MY HUSBAND AND I SAW AND HEARD THIS.....
TWO LADIES IN FRONT OF US (WE WERE A19 AND A20) THEY STOOD UNDER A-15 (BOTH) WHEN THEY HANDED THE AGENT THERE TICKET, SHE FIRST SAID TO ONE OF THE LADIES "WAIT, YOU ARE A-50, OH, ARE YOU TWO TRAVELLING TOGETHER?" THE LADIES SAID "YES" AND SHE LET THEM BOARD TOGETHER........THE COUPLE BEHIND OF US, TOLD THE AGENT THE SAME THING, HE WAS LIKE A22 SHE WAS FURTHER BACK, AS HE WAS AN ALISTER OBVIOUSLY, AND SHE WASN'T......THE AGENT AGAIN LET THEM BOARD TOGETHER........
NOW, WE'VE BEEN ON TWO TRIPS WITHIN TWO WEEKS TO VEGAS, AND ENCOUNTERED THIS HAPPENING ON BOTH TRIPS. IT WAS OUR UNDERSTANDING HOWEVER, THAT AS AN ALISTER, YOU DO GET TO BOARD AFTER THE BUSINESS FOLKS, AND IF YOU ARE WITH ANOTHER PARTY TRAVELLING, YOU ARE USUALLY TOLD TO GO ON THE PLANE AND SAVE THEM A SEAT......THE FLIGHT WASN'T FULL, BUT ITS THE PRINCIPAL HERE THAT ISN'T RIGHT.......IN CASES LIKE THESE, "ONLY" THOSE IN THEIR APPROPRIATE NUMBERS SHOULD BOARD FIRST, AND THERE TRAVEL PARTNER "STILL, AND SHOULD" WAIT IN LINE UNDER THERE NUMBER..........IF YOU ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN, THEN YOUR NUMBERS PROGRAM WILL BE GOING TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET REAL QUICK, AND FRICTION AGAIN WILL FOLLOW.......
