I am so touched by this event, I wish I was in LAX to see this. I am so proud to be with a Company who publically makes such special recognition to our Country's Veterans and Soldiers who are unselfishly fighting for our freedom and protecting us. God Bless our Veterans and the nearly 700 Employees we have at SWA who serve in the National guard and Reserve.
Thanks for sharing this special event for all of us to see.
Truly....Amy Jo Shipley/Customer Service Instructor Dallas.
P.S. Teaching class today of our newest 18 Customer Service Agents we did start the morning by recognizing the importance of today. We also hung our American flag in the classroom.

Southwest Airlines is my family. They have raised me for the last 25 years. I've worked at SWA longer than I lived under my parents roof, longer than I stayed married, and longer than my children are old! I love our Culture, Core Values, the way we business, and our internal and external Customers. I still have to pinch myself on occasion. To this day we are still still the zany airline, with tons of personality and 31,000 "servant hearts".
P.S. Our uniforms, which were hot pants and go-go boots was the "style" in the 70's and 80's, not a "costume"!
